You can still take part in several other opportunities to volunteer for Salford Heart Care:

Organisers

Could you help us organise one of Salford Heart Care's fortnightly drop in sessions?  Activities, arranging guest speakers and organising volunteers are some of the tasks performed by organisers.  Learn organisational skills and gain valuable experience. If you have this kind of work experience but are not looking for work, why not use your skills to help others?

Kitchen duties

Could you make/serve drinks and clear away afterwards at one of the Salford Heart Care drop in sessions?

Housekeeping

Could you support Salford Sidekicks or Salford Heart Care by providing light housekeeping duties such as arranging furniture for the drop in sessions?

Office/Reception duties

Do you have recent office skills experience, excellent literacy and numeracy and a good telephone manner?    Recently finished a job using these skills and not ready to resort to tea, biscuits and bingo in retirement or  looking to keep up skills to help you find a new job?   Yes?  Could you help with administrative support for Salford Sidekicks or Salford Heart Care?

Fundraising & Publicity volunteers

Salford Sidekicks/Salford Heart Care is a volunteer led organisation. We are always looking for new ways to raise funds and awareness of the great work we are doing.  Think you could help?  We especially need people who have experience through their work or previous volunteering especially completing application forms and monitoring information for funders.
